Average and Median formula
Mean = Σx ÷ n; median = middle sorted value, or mean of the middle pair
The two results can agree without the observations being similar. An unusually large value pulls the mean upward, while the median depends on positions in the sorted list. Comparing both helps describe skewed data without hiding either measure.
